MIG/MAG welding machines

MIG-MAG welding is a welding technique in which a shielding gas is used to prevent overheating of the material.
The big difference between MIG and MAG welding relates to the gas used. MIG welding uses a Metal Inert Gas, such as Argon. MAG welding uses a Metal Active Gas, such as carbon dioxide/CO2.
A MIG/MAG welding machine provides an automatic feed of the welding wire at a constant set speed. You don't have to worry about the filler material during welding, making it a popular and fast welding technique.
TIG welding machines

TIG welding is a complex welding technique that requires quite a bit of dexterity. You have to manually handle the filler material, so you constantly need both hands during welding.
TIG stands for Tungsten Inert Gas; tungsten, refers to the filler material used, inert gas refers to the gas used.
TIG welding is a rather time-consuming process, but with a high-quality and beautiful welding connection as a result.
Electrode/MMA welding machines

Electrode/MMA welding is also sometimes called electric welding because it uses covered electrodes. The electrode serves as additive material and melts, as it were, on the material to be welded.
During welding a 'slag' is created that you have to remove with a chipping hammer after cooling. This deposit of material is caused by the protective material that surrounds the electrode.
The great advantage of electrode/MMA welding is that there is no need for a shielding gas, making this welding technique easy to use in the open air.
Diesel welding machines

Antwerp Welding Supply nv also rents out in-house developed welding diesels. With these machines, an electrode/MMA welding machine was built into a diesel generator and placed on a mobile terrain chassis.
The advantage of this solution is that you are not dependent on external power supplies and that you can work completely autonomously on rough terrain. Ideal for use on location or in large areas where the necessary power supplies are not immediately available.
An external device can also be connected to this welding generator combination via the normal power supplies. This enables you, for example, to connect a second MIG/MAG welding machine or TIG welding machine to the built-in 33kVA generator.
